Hey there! Thanks for stopping by my blog! My name is Hannah, and I am first and foremost a daughter of the King. I live with my parents and older sister on our five acres in the state of Texas. I teach English as a Second Language to children and young people in different parts of the world, and I have a store on Teachers Pay Teachers where I sell activity guides and worksheets that I have made for various classic, historical, and Christian books. Reading is a passion of mine, so I am always eager to encourage young people to spend more time reading good books.
My Teaching Experience:
In 2020, I graduated from university with an Elementary Education degree and a minor in TESOL.
I taught Kindergarten-3rd grade for one semester in a private Christian school. I’ve also taught Sunday School, Junior Church, and multiple Vacation Bible Schools. For the past four years, I’ve taught English as a Second Language to both children and adults.
Currently, in addition to teaching, I am creating educational curriculum, primarily for Kindergarten and 1st grade. Learning should be fun and enjoyable, so I use lots of games, crafts, and coloring activities in my curriculum.
What to Expect:
If you’re interested in the posts related to my personal interests of writing, music, and reading, you can find those on the Personal Blog. I enjoy sharing music tips and hymns I enjoy, devotionals and what the Lord has been teaching me, writing tips, reading ideas, and more.
The Personal Blog is also where you’ll find the Grace Reid Story Series. This is a series of short stories about a Christian homeschool girl and her family.
Now how about ten fun facts about myself, so you can get to know me a little bit better.
1. I love coffee!
2. Since my siblings are all older than me, that makes me the baby of the family.
3. I’m left-handed.
4. I was seventeen when I finished writing my first “book.”
5. I enjoy making cards and sending them to friends.
6. I love anything pink.
7. Antarctica is one of the places I most want to visit.
8. I enjoy gathering and arranging flowers that we have grown.
9. I’ve been in 15 countries.
10. Reading and writing are two of my favorite hobbies, but arithmetic, now that is another matter.
Bonus: I hope to be a published author in 2022!
Now that you’ve gotten to know me a little better, I hope you stick around and become a regular here on More Than Just Reading!
